3-R Principle Recycle, Reuse and Reduce
Simile Imaging believes in corporate environmental responsibility, and we love being GREEN! We seek out products and services -ways of doing business, that are environmentally driven. Below is a list of some of our current "green" initiatives for our document management solution.
- Ever increasing waste reduction
- Recycling of our copier, printer, fax machine & supplies packaging material
- Striping down trades of office printers, copiers and fax machines to steel frame and recycle
- Recycling of toner drums
- Use of bio-degradable packing material (transition from Styrofoam to fiberboard)
- Use of long life components in our copiers and printers
- Use of non-cartridge based printers
- Energy Star compliant copiers, printers & fax machines
- Use of Eco-friendly parts and supplies for our printers, copiers and fax machines
- Use of multifunction machines that manage multiple jobs housed in the same unit
- Promotion of paperless and "paper-less" options including machines that handle scanning and document management and storage
